Exciting Opportunity Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (1015 Years)

We are looking for a seasoned Ruby on Rails expert to join our high-performing team. This is not your typical RoR role you will be at the forefront of solving mission-critical application stability and scalability challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What Youll Do :

- Stability & Scalability : Analyze application bottlenecks and design solutions to ensure system resilience at scale.

- Security & Performance : Implement bot mitigation strategies (Cloudflare or similar), improve fault tolerance, and lead efforts on monitoring gaps.

- Microservices Development : Build, optimize, and maintain Ruby on Rails microservices and APIs, with exposure to Sinatra.

- Infrastructure Monitoring : Strengthen monitoring and alerting using Datadog and similar observability tools.

- System Reliability : Implement auto-restart scripts, failover mechanisms, and performance tuning for critical services.

- Collaboration & Mentorship : Partner with Product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams, while mentoring junior engineers.

- Innovation & Growth : Balance production issue resolution with new feature development to ensure long-term stability.

What You Bring :

- 10 to 15 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development

- Strong command over RoR, Sinatra, microservices, and distributed systems

- Hands-on with Kafka, ZooKeeper, Thrift, and SOLR for messaging & search

- Cloud experience : AWS (SQS, hosting, infrastructure)

- Proficiency in Datadog monitoring, Cloudflare bot mitigation, containerized environments

- Solid debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills

- Experience in Agile environments and excellent communication skills

Bonus : Prior experience working on healthcare technology platforms
