Senior Quality Assurance Tester

Role Overview :

The Senior Quality Assurance Tester is a highly experienced role requiring a Minimum five (5) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions development life cycles (SDLC).

Mandatory experience includes Four (4) years experience in diverse automated testing practices using a wide array of industry-standard tools.

The incumbent will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies with a strong focus on enhancing and maintaining automation frameworks across various testing types (functional, integration, API, performance).

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Tester (5+ years SDLC experience, 4+ years dedicated automation) proficient in applying quality assurance throughout the full Solutions Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate must possess hands-on expertise with a wide array of automated testing tools, including (but not limited to) Selenium, Karate Framework, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, QTest, and DevTest.

Key responsibilities include leading the design and execution of automated tests, leveraging diverse tools for API/service-level validation, ensuring continuous quality checks within the SDLC, and contributing to overall test strategy development and tool integration.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

Automated Testing Strategy and Execution :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Four (4) years experience in automated testing practices.

- Demonstrate practical, hands-on experience with diverse automation tools covering UI, API, and performance testing, such as Selenium, Karate Framework, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, DevTest, Mocha, and Bobcat.

- Utilize specialized tools like QTest for test case management and reporting, and Axe Dev Tools for mandatory accessibility testing within the automation pipeline.

- Apply knowledge of cloud and specialized environments, potentially involving tools like Saucelabs, Perfecto, or Azure Data Studio for data validation and cloud-based testing.

SDLC Integration and Quality Assurance :

- Leverage a Minimum five (5) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions development life cycles (e.g., SDLC), ensuring quality is embedded at every phase (from requirements to deployment).

- Conduct integration and API-level testing using tools like SoapUI/ReadyAPI or Karate Framework to validate service endpoints and data contracts.

- Contribute to the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating automated tests for rapid feedback and regression prevention.

Testing Techniques and Methodologies :

- Perform advanced test planning, risk analysis, and defect management, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to debug complex failures and ensure test stability and reliability.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum five (5) years experience working on project(s) involving the SDLC.

- Automation : Four (4) years experience in automated testing practices.

- Tools Proficiency : Demonstrated hands-on experience with multiple tools from the listed set (e.g., Selenium, Karate Framework, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, QTest, Axe Dev Tools).

Preferred Skills :

- Proficiency in a programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript) required for developing and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and bug tracking tools (Jira).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.

- Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance (ISTQB).
