Position : Senior QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 58 years of experience in API automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Karate Framework, REST API Automation, JavaScript, and BDD (Gherkin), along with experience in CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and maintain API automation frameworks using Karate Framework.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for REST APIs.

- Create BDD test scenarios using Gherkin and JavaScript.

- Validate API requests, responses, authentication, and business rules.

- Integrate automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Execute smoke, regression, and integration test suites.

- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure product quality.

Required Skills :

- 5 to 8 years of QA Automation experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Karate Framework.

- Expertise in REST API Automation, JavaScript, and BDD (Gherkin).

- Good knowledge of JSON, SQL, Git, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).

- Familiarity with Maven/Gradle and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have :

- Docker, Kafka, Microservices, Allure Reports, JMeter, and AWS/Azure/GCP exposure.
