About the Role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong expertise in ETL and BI testing to validate data migrations and conversions involving Oracle, Snowflake, Informatica, and dbt. The role focuses on data reconciliation, transformation validation, data quality, and BI report accuracy to ensure data integrity across systems.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test strategies for data reconciliation, data lineage, and transformation validation.

- Validate dbt models, tests, and snapshots to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Test Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) logic, incremental data loads, and ETL workflows.

- Perform BI report validation, including metrics, calculations, and data accuracy checks.

- Execute regression and smoke testing across multiple pods and environments.

- Identify, document, and track data discrepancies and defects, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues.

- Use AWS S3 to manage and validate test datasets.

- Support data migration and conversion testing, ensuring completeness and consistency between source and target systems.

Requirements :

- 5 - 9 years of experience in QA, ETL testing, data validation, or BI testing.

- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience testing Snowflake databases.

- Good understanding of dbt models, tests, snapshots, and data quality frameworks.

- Experience validating data transformations, reconciliation, and incremental loads.

- Familiarity with AWS S3 for handling test datasets.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience in large-scale data migration and conversion testing.

- Exposure to Oracle, Informatica, and BI reporting tools.
