Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building production-grade backend applications, APIs, and data pipelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Flask, databases, scalable architecture, and message-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable Python backend applications and REST APIs.

- Build and maintain production-grade Flask services and data ingestion systems.

- Develop ETL/data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize queries for performance.

- Design solutions for high-concurrency and distributed systems.

- Implement event-driven workflows using Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar technologies.

- Build reliable data processing, validation, and transformation workflows.

- Develop integrations with third-party APIs and external data sources.

- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and AWS/GCP.

- Follow best practices for testing, CI/CD, code quality, and maintainable architecture.

- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to deliver reliable production solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

- 5+ years of Python development

- Strong hands-on Flask experience

- REST API development

- Strong SQL/database knowledge

- PostgreSQL / MySQL; MongoDB is a plus

- Database indexing, query optimization & performance tuning
