Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer / Python Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python development, test automation, and backend services to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python frameworks, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and cloud platforms, and will play a key role in building high-quality, reliable systems while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, scripts, and automation workflows.

- Lead the development and execution of automation test frameworks and scripts.

- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.

- Integrate applications with internal and external systems.

- Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and automation issues.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and high-quality deployments.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test artifacts.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

- Evaluate and adopt new Python, automation, and AI/ML technologies where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-8 years of hands-on Python development experience.

- Strong proficiency with Python frameworks and libraries such as Flask, Django, FastAPI, Pandas, Requests.

- Experience in test automation using Selenium, OpenCV, WinAppDriver, or similar tools.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, backend automation, and microservices architecture.

- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and modular design.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build automation.

- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.

- Familiarity with machine learning workflows or data pipelines.

- Experience with message queues or event-driven systems.

- Knowledge of security best practices and API authentication/authorization.
