Job Title : Senior Python Developer

Location : Remote

Working Days : Monday to Saturday (6 days/week)

Experience Required : 7+ years

Tenure : 12-month Contract (Contract-to-Hire)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled - Senior Python Developer- with over 7 years of experience to join our team on a 12-month contract (with the potential to convert to a full-time role). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about backend development, and has proven experience scaling high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.

- Design and implement APIs using FastAPI.

- Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, frontend developers, and product managers.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and technical standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years- of hands-on experience in Python development.

- Strong expertise in building and scaling complex applications.

- Proficiency in FastAPI and RESTful API development.

- Solid understanding of system architecture and backend engineering principles.

- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
