About the Role :

Our client, a leading Big 4 firm, is looking for a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications. You will work on scalable systems, collaborate across teams, and contribute to high-impact technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Python.

- Build scalable RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Develop microservices-based applications and integrate third-party services and APIs.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Implement asynchronous programming, caching, and message queues where required.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, product managers, and QA teams.

- Write unit tests and integration tests; ensure code quality through reviews.

- Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.

- Strong proficiency in frameworks: Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Solid understanding of OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns.

- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

- Strong knowledge of databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Experience with caching tools such as Redis.

- Proficiency in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
