About the Role :

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our team for a critical project. This is a remote, night-shift position ideal for professionals who thrive in flexible working environments and have a passion for building scalable, high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs to support various business applications.

- Utilize modern Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, and Flask to design robust web services.

- Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

- Optimize database performance across PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MySQL to ensure reliability and efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.

- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in backend systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 7 years of professional experience as a Python developer.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and REST API development.

- Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, and Flask.

- Solid understanding of database systems including PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MySQL.

- Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.

- Proficient in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

- Ability to work efficiently in a night shift (9:00 PM 6:00 AM IST) and remote work environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in agile development environments.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of additional cloud services or tools related to monitoring and logging.
