Role Overview :

We are seeking a motivated Backend Engineer to join our engineering team in India.

This individual will play a critical role in integrating and transforming large-scale data to power intelligent decision-making systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.

- Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code in Python/Django.

- Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Develop RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.

- Ensure system performance, security, and scalability in production.

- Work with cloud environments (AWS preferred - EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, etc.)

- Collaborate with frontend, data, and product teams to deliver seamless solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Python and Django (or FastAPI/Flask).

- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Good understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL, e.g, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda).

- Solid understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and scalability.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.

- Exposure to microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
