We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications and data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have extensive backend development experience using Python, hands-on knowledge of GCP services, and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize backend services and microservices using Python 3.

- Build and manage data pipelines and cloud-native applications using GCP-native services

- Collaborate with solution architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to ensure high availability and scalability

- Design, document, and implement RESTful APIs and service integrations

- Ensure code quality with automated testing, static analysis, and code reviews

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in production environments

- Maintain security, scalability, and performance best practices throughout the development lifecycle

Required Technical Skills :

- Advanced Python 3 proficiency with strong grasp of OOP, concurrency, and multithreading

- Experience with Python web frameworks : Flask, FastAPI, or Django

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture

- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:

1. Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage

2. GKE (nice to have)

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Firestore, or MongoDB

- Proficiency in containerization (Docker), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Experience :

- Understanding of GCP IAM, service accounts, and roles

- Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Deployment Manager

- Familiarity with Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and tracing tools for observability and debugging

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Apache Airflow, Dataflow, or other ETL pipeline frameworks

- Exposure to machine learning workflows, model serving, or MLOps

- GCP Certification (Associate or Professional Cloud Developer/Engineer) is a plus
