Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Python Architect with strong hands-on experience in Python, AWS, backend architecture, REST APIs and databases. The ideal candidate should have a strong software development background with recent experience building and architecting scalable backend applications and services on AWS.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python and AWS.

- Architect backend services, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain REST APIs.

- Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch and ECS/ECR.

- Write clean, maintainable and efficient Python code.

- Review existing code and independently implement enhancements and fixes.

- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and DynamoDB.

- Use Git-based version control systems for development.

- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues.

- Work with Linux commands and shell scripting.

- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.

- Contribute to CI/CD and containerized application environments where required.

Mandatory Requirements :

- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.

- 4+ recent years of strong hands-on Python development experience.

- Strong working knowledge of Python.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS.

- Experience with: EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS / ECR.

- Strong experience designing and architecting scalable backend applications/services on AWS.

- Good understanding of REST APIs.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or DynamoDB.

- Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab.

- Familiarity with Linux commands and shell scripting.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to understand existing code and make changes independently.

- Strong communication skills.

- Experience working in B2B Technology Consulting, B2B IT Services or AI Technology Consulting environments.

- Willingness to work 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM EST shift when required.
