Senior Product Engineer - Java

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Java (Spring, Spring Boot, etc.).

- Work with distributed systems and messaging platforms like Kafka, Cassandra, or Hadoop to manage large-scale data processing.

- Develop and optimize database solutions using MySQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.

- Build, deploy, and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Ensure system performance, security, and scalability through architectural best practices.

- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.

- Mentor junior developers and support technical decision-making across the team.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- 1+ years of backend development experience with a focus on Java.

- Proven expertise with Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

- Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).

- Hands-on experience with distributed data/messaging systems (Kafka, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Strong problem-solving skills, architectural thinking, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
