About the Role :
This role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence technology direction across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end solution design, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, mentoring senior engineers and architects.
- Collaborate with product management, business stakeholders, and leadership to align engineering with business goals.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, ensuring the organization stays at the forefront of innovation.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural frameworks.
- Lead proof of concepts, R&D initiatives, and critical projects with high visibility.
- Represent engineering in executive-level discussions and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality software delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in architectural/technical leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in system architecture, distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern engineering practices.
- Strong background in microservices, APIs, data engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent understanding of scalable and resilient system design.
- Experience mentoring and building high-performing technical teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good to Have :
- Experience in FinTech, BFSI, SaaS, or large-scale product development environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML, blockchain, or other emerging technologies.
- Track record of patents, publications, or open-source contributions
