Role Overview :

We are looking for a senior PowerShell Developer with strong scripting and automation experience, who has working knowledge or hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (preferably SolarWinds).

The role focuses on building automation, integrations, and monitoring workflows, rather than traditional network operations. Candidates with strong PowerShell skills who have worked alongside monitoring platforms will be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell scripts and modules for infrastructure and monitoring automation.

- Automate monitoring-related tasks such as :

1. Node onboarding and offboarding

2. Alert suppression during maintenance windows

3. Automated report and alert generation

- Work with monitoring tools (preferably SolarWinds, but open to others like LogicMonitor, SCOM, etc.) to:

- Consume APIs and integrate automation workflows

- Support alerting, dashboards, and reporting

- Develop integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and SDKs.

- Enhance integrations between monitoring tools and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).

- Build reusable utilities and self-service tools for monitoring and operations teams.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and SRE teams to understand automation requirements.

- Support incident analysis and troubleshooting using monitoring data.

- Maintain documentation and contribute to Agile/Kanban workflows.

Mandatory Skills :

- 3- 5+ years of strong PowerShell development experience

- Functions, modules, classes

- Error handling and logging

- Script optimization and reusability

- Experience working with infrastructure or monitoring environments

- Hands-on experience consuming REST APIs using PowerShell

- Strong understanding of Windows environments and system administration
