Role Overview :

As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of complex business intelligence solutions that transform raw data into actionable strategic insights.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and senior business stakeholders, to translate intricate business requirements into high-performance dashboards and reporting models.

Your work will directly influence executive decision-making and operational efficiency by ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and visual clarity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop complex Power BI dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into key performance indicators.

- Optimize DAX queries and data models to ensure high performance and scalability when handling large, multi-source datasets.

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and maintain robust ETL pipelines that feed into the Power BI ecosystem.

- Conduct thorough data validation and quality assurance testing to ensure the integrity and reliability of all reporting outputs.

- Mentor junior team members and establish best practices for data visualization, report design, and documentation to maintain high standards of delivery.

- Partner with business units to identify reporting gaps and implement automated solutions that reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing complex data models and advanced DAX calculations within the Power BI environment.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and complex query optimization across relational databases.

- Proven ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven narratives are clear and actionable.

- Experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources, including Azure SQL, Snowflake, or other cloud-based data warehouses.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing end-to-end BI project lifecycles.

- A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
