Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expertise in PowerBi Analytics.

- Create data models, advanced DAX calculations, and custom measures to support business analytics needs.

- Create ELT flows, Data warehousing, Azure Data Pipelines.

- Stay up to date with Power BI features and best practices.

- Innovate and be creative in your data analysis, problem solving and presentation of solutions.

- Cross functional capabilities in various teams in Advance Analytics.

- Handle outages or issues raised on Service now in the form of tickets / incidents.

- Take additional responsibilities as & when required.

- Help train new hires in all processes & skillsets required & mentor them.

- Coach, motivate and guide the junior team members.

- Bi-monthly presentation on the concepts & new features which can be implemented in the day-to-day work.

Qualifications:

- At least 5-8 years experience in data analytics along with UG / PG degree.

- Good understanding of PowerBI Analytics, Data Flows, SQL, Cloud Solutions (Azure) + Python.

- Experience in MS Fabric, Tabular Editor, Paginated reports, Power automate & dbt (optional).

- Build and maintain scalable data models using modern tools (e.g., Snowflake, dbt).

- Translate defined business logic into clean and reusable datasets.

- Experience in supporting Analytic solution roll outs and working across different time zones.

- Experience managing projects or working towards a deadline.

- Working with clients or customers internal or external.

- Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology.

- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization.

- Willingness to accommodate work schedules that align with onsite hours & weekend schedules.

- Upskill on new technologies to implement on the job / new business requirement.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy.

- Ability to work with global teams across time zones.

- Clear communication skills.

- Communicate data issues, variances, and root-cause findings with clear analysis and recommendations.

Clarification of Responsibilities:

- The role we are hiring for is a Sr. Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, DBT, SQL and Power BI, along with solid QA and data validation expertise.

- We are specifically looking for candidates with a full-stack analytics mindset - someone who can work across Snowflake data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and visualization.

- In our current setup, the team is actively engaged in migrating legacy data platforms to Snowflake, with DBT being used extensively for data transformation and modeling.

- The incoming resources will be expected to contribute to this migration effort, including building and optimizing DBT models, ensuring data quality and supporting validation processes during the transition.

- Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including business teams and product owners, to understand data requirements, translate them into scalable solutions and deliver reliable reporting through Power BI dashboards. We do have on-call support on rotational basis.

- We need candidate who not only meet the technical requirements but can also quickly ramp up, operate independently and support the team in delivering against tight timelines.
