Senior Platform Engineer - Infrastructure & Security

Job Description :

Own ParamAIQ's production cloud platform across IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, observability, security and reliability. Build secure infrastructure, automate deployments, manage cost, debug production issues, and enable engineers to ship independently.

- 4+ years of hands-on production infrastructure experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Terraform/OpenTofu, Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD.

- Strong in IAM, security, observability and automation.

Job Description :

ParamAIQ is seeking an experienced engineer to own and evolve its production cloud platform. The role focuses on infrastructure as code, continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, Kubernetes orchestration, observability, security, and overall reliability. You will design secure infrastructure, automate deployments, control costs, troubleshoot production incidents, and empower engineering teams to deliver software independently.

About the Role :

You will be the technical steward of the cloud environment, ensuring it remains robust, secure, and costeffective. Collaboration with development, security, and operations teams is essential to drive best practices and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructureascode using Terraform or OpenTofu across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable releases.

- Deploy, scale, and operate Kubernetes clusters and Docker container workloads.

- Implement IAM policies, security controls, and compliance measures.

- Establish observability stacks (metrics, logging, tracing) to monitor system health.

- Automate routine operational tasks and incident response workflows.

- Optimize cloud spend and enforce costmanagement best practices.

- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams for independent shipping.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of handson experience managing production infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Proficiency with Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructureascode.

- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Deep understanding of IAM, security best practices, and compliance.

- Expertise in observability tools and automation frameworks.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with multicloud strategies and costoptimization techniques.

- Experience with service mesh, GitOps, or advanced monitoring solutions.
