Job Description :

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP applications (PHP 7 & 8).

- Administer and maintain Ubuntu-based server environments.

- Diagnose and resolve undocumented issues in live production systems.

- Reverse engineer legacy codebases and undocumented systems.

- Design and implement thoughtful, scalable solutions to complex problems.

- Manage Docker containers and orchestrate services for development and production.

- Maintain and enhance Symfony-based applications.

- Administer MySQL databases, including performance tuning and backups.

- Configure and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.

- Implement security best practices across systems and applications.

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support deployment workflows.

- Handle domain transfers, configure SSL certificates, and resolve DNS issues.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Fluent in PHP 7 and 8, with strong understanding of modern PHP practices.

- Comfortable with Ubuntu system administration and shell scripting.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve undocumented or complex issues.

- Experience with reverse engineering and legacy system analysis.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical mindset.

- Proficient with Docker and containerized environments.

- Hands-on experience with Symfony framework.

- Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.

- Skilled in MySQL database management and optimization.

- Fluent in domain transfer processes, SSL certificate configuration, and DNS troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
