Job Title : Senior Oracle HCM Consultant

Experience Required : 5+ Years

Location : Hinjewadi Phase 2, Pune

Working Model : Hybrid (3 days from office)

Shift Timing : 2 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM IST

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle HCM Consultant to join our HR Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud modules, tools, and integrations. This role involves end-to-end implementation, configuration, development, and support of HCM modules like Benefits, Absence Management, and Payroll in a complex ERP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Benefits, Absence Management, Payroll).

- Configure, customize, and optimize Oracle HCM modules based on business requirements.

- Develop and maintain HCM Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, HDL (HCM Data Loader) scripts, and BI Publisher reports.

- Design and implement approval workflows using Oracle BPM/Worklist.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality configurations.

- Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve defects across multiple modules.

- Manage and support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and various upstream/downstream systems using REST/SOAP APIs, batch jobs, and middleware tools.

- Create and maintain technical documentation including design specs, test cases, migration plans, and user guides.

- Participate in code reviews, solution design discussions, and architectural planning.

- Ensure all development follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.

- Work in a fast-paced, global environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Oracle HCM Cloud Experience :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in configuring and implementing Oracle HCM modules.

- At least 1 full lifecycle implementation (end-to-end) of Oracle HCM Cloud.

- Expertise in Benefits, Absence Management, and Payroll modules.

Technical Tools Expertise :

- Proficient in HCM Fast Formula (Eligibility, Absence, Payroll, Validation).

- Experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, BI Publisher, and Approval Workflow configurations.

- Familiarity with Oracle HCM REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.

ERP Environment Knowledge :

- 3+ years of experience working in complex ERP environments with multiple system integrations.

- Strong understanding of data flows between HCM and financial, time tracking, or custom applications.

SDLC Experience :

- Proven track record in projects following structured SDLC methodology.

- Ability to participate in requirement gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

Problem Solving & Communication :

- Strong analytical, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with global teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications (e.g., HCM Core, Payroll, Absence).

- Experience in integration platforms like Dell Boomi, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), or MuleSoft.

- Knowledge of security configuration in Oracle HCM (roles, privileges, duty roles).

- Hands-on experience with OTBI and dashboard creation.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
