Job Title : Senior Oracle Database Engineer

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Engineer to optimize high-volume OLTP environments, resolve complex performance bottlenecks, and ensure high availability. The ideal candidate combines deep PL/SQL development expertise with strong diagnostic capabilities and the communication skills to support end-users effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

- Performance Optimization : Tune complex queries and proactively identify bottlenecks using Explain Plans and AWR reports.

- Production Troubleshooting : Resolve database-related issues in high-availability environments, performing rapid root-cause analysis.

- Code Debugging : Analyze, trace, and debug legacy or intricate logic flows within database packages and procedures.

- Data Management : Manage and maintain partitioned tables for massive, large-scale datasets.

- Stakeholder Support : Partner with end-users to understand system issues, translating complex technical problems into clear, non-technical terms.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Relational Databases (Oracle strongly preferred).

- Architecture : Proven track record working with high-volume OLTP systems and large-scale partitioned data.

- Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, with a specific focus on utilizing Collection types for efficient data processing.

- Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving abilities, high adaptability under pressure, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
