Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description :

- Expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other enterprise databases

- Installation, configuration, upgrades, patching (RU/RUR, security patches)

- Backup, recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning

- High availability & disaster recovery (RAC, Data Guard, Always On, clustering, replication)

- Database migrations (on-prem to cloud, version upgrades, cross-platform)

- Linux/Windows administration and scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell)

- Automation using Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines

- Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI (RDS, Cloud SQL, managed services)

- Monitoring & observability tools (OEM, Datadog, AppDynamics, Zabbix, etc.)

- Security & compliance : encryption, access reviews, vulnerability remediation, audit support

- Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL processes)

- Documentation, runbooks, and operational excellence

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Requirements :

- Need a Senior Oracle DBA with Cloud experience

- Shift Hours : CST Business hours

- These DBAs will be working on COX merger activities.

- Need to discover and analyze the cox landscape

- Analyze and understand the cox processes and tools

- Work on system and DB integration activities. Work on process integration and harmonization

- Consolidation of DBs
