Senior Node.js Developer - PostgreSQL/Express.js

- Candidate who have handled Government or Public Sector IT projects

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 36 years of experience to join our team for a prestigious government project based in Delhi.

The candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.

Those with experience working on government or public sector IT projects will be prioritised.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end and third-party systems.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high- quality solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.

- Ensure proper documentation, version control, and adherence to coding standards.

- Work in an Agile development environment and participate in sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript.

- Experience with MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.

- Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.

- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

- Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems
