Senior Node.js Developer - Express.js/Microservices Architecture

Location : Bengaluru.

Experience : 5+ years.

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Node.js Developer- with strong expertise in - Microservices, Payments, and API Development- to design and build scalable, event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Node.js (Express.js) microservices following RESTful principles.

- Build secure, high-volume transaction systems integrating multiple payment gateways.

- Design and optimize MongoDB- schemas, aggregation pipelines, and indexing strategies.

- Implement service-to-service communication , API gateways, and event streaming.

- Ensure - security, compliance (PCI-DSS) and data protection across all services.

- Deploy using - Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD- pipelines.

- Set up - monitoring, logging, and performance optimization- using modern DevOps tools.

Required Skills :

- Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB.

- REST APIs, RabbitMQ/Kafka, async programming.

- JWT/OAuth 2.0, encryption, secure coding.

- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab CI).

- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred).

Good to Have :

- Payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, TSYS, etc.

- TypeScript, GraphQL, Redis, WebSockets.

- Knowledge of - DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing .
