Description :

Looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and building scalable microservices-based applications. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our backend systems and APIs that power web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js.

- Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption.

- Develop and maintain microservices and handle service-to-service communication effectively.

- Work closely with architects, product managers, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

- Integrate with databases, third-party services, and internal APIs.

- Implement security and data protection measures.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance.

- Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD, and deployment automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development.

- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven systems, and Promises/Async-Await.

- Experience with Express.js, Fastify, NestJS, or similar frameworks.

- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Good understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT).

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
