About the Role :

Knowledge Artisans is hiring experienced Network SMEs to work on large-scale enterprise environments involving data center networking, routing, and security transformations.

You will play a key role in design validation, deep troubleshooting, and supporting mission-critical network operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide L3/SME-level support for enterprise network environments

- Troubleshoot complex issues across routing, switching, and data center networks

- Support implementation of modern network architectures (SD-WAN, segmentation)

- Work closely with architects on design improvements and optimizations

- Ensure high availability and performance of network infrastructure

- Participate in incident management, RCA, and performance tuning

Required Skills :

Strong hands-on expertise in :

- Routing & Switching (L3+)

- Cisco (Nexus, Catalyst)

Experience in :

- Data Center Networking (Spine-Leaf, VXLAN, VLANs)

- Network Security (Firewall basics, segmentation)

Good understanding of :

- SD-WAN concepts

- Enterprise network operations

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Juniper / Aruba (HPE)

- Experience in multi-vendor environments

- Basic scripting/automation (Python/Ansible)

What We're Looking For :

- Strong troubleshooting depth

- Ability to work across technologies (not limited to one OEM)

- Hands-on experience in real enterprise environments

Required Skills :

Core Networking :

- Strong hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching (L3 level and above)

- Deep understanding of TCP/IP

- Experience with dynamic routing protocols (OSPF BGP)

Cisco Ecosystem :

- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus & Catalyst switches

- Strong CLI troubleshooting and configuration experience

- Experience handling production network environments

Data Center Networking :

- Solid experience with Spine-Leaf architecture

- Hands-on exposure to VXLAN

- VLAN segmentation

- Experience managing large-scale data center networks

Troubleshooting & Operations :

- Proven ability in L3/SME-level troubleshooting

- Experience handling Sev1 / critical incidents

- Strong skills in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and performance tuning

Network Security Basics :

- Working knowledge of firewalls

- ACLs

- Ability to troubleshoot network access and security issues
