Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, network security, and infrastructure operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Juniper firewall administration, network design, troubleshooting, and automation using Ansible.

The role involves managing complex network environments, ensuring high availability, implementing security controls, and driving network automation initiatives across global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure to support business operations.

- Administer, configure, and maintain Juniper firewall environments.

- Develop and enforce network security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.

- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, and security-related issues.

- Implement network automation solutions using Ansible to improve operational efficiency.

- Develop automation playbooks for network provisioning, configuration management, and compliance validation.

- Perform firewall policy reviews, optimization, and periodic audits.

- Manage routing and switching infrastructure across enterprise environments.

- Configure and support VPN solutions, secure remote access, and site-to-site connectivity.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams on network-related initiatives.

- Support network migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.

- Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and implement preventive measures.

- Ensure network infrastructure complies with organizational security standards and best practices.

- Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.

- Participate in change management, release planning, and implementation activities.

- Monitor and respond to network security threats and vulnerabilities.

- Support disaster recovery planning and high-availability network architectures.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies, security trends, and automation frameworks.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong experience in enterprise network engineering and administration.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Juniper Firewalls and security platforms.

- Expertise in firewall configuration, policy management, and security rule optimization.

- Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies.

- Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and other networking protocols.

- Hands-on experience with Ansible automation and playbook development.

- Knowledge of network automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.

- Experience with VPN technologies including IPSec and SSL VPN.

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network security concepts.

- Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools.

- Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery network architectures.

- Familiarity with enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless networking solutions.

- Understanding of network access control and security compliance requirements.

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or global network environments.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management practices.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP) or equivalent certification.

- Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS) certification.

- CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, or equivalent networking certification.

- Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell.

- Experience with SD-WAN and network virtualization technologies.

- Exposure to network security frameworks and compliance standards.

- Ability to join within 30 days or less
