Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Enterprise and Data Center Networking. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and managing large-scale network infrastructure. Active CCIE Certification (Enterprise Infrastructure or Data Center) is mandatory.

The candidate should have extensive experience with Cisco Nexus platforms, routing and switching technologies, SD-WAN, network security, virtualization, and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Design & Implementation :

- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise and data center network infrastructure.

- Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

- Implement scalable and highly available network architectures.

- Perform network migrations and upgrade activities with minimal downtime.

Routing & Switching :

- Configure and troubleshoot Layer-2 and Layer-3 technologies.

- Manage protocols including :

i. OSPF

ii. EIGRP

iii. BGP

iv. RIP

v. IS-IS

vi. HSRP, VRRP, GLBP

vii. STP, RSTP, MSTP

viii. VLAN, VTP, EtherChannel

- Configure inter-VLAN routing, route summarization, and route maps.

Data Center Technologies :

- Administer Cisco Nexus platforms (Nexus 9000, 7000, 5000, 2000 series).

- Work on :

i. Cisco ACI

ii. VXLAN EVPN

iii. VPC

iv. VDC

v. FabricPath

vi. FEX

vii. Multi-Tenant Architecture

- Manage UCS servers and virtualized environments.

SD-WAN & Network Automation :

- Deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions.

- Hands-on experience with :

i. Cisco Viptela (vManage, vSmart, vBond, vEdge)

ii. Cisco DNA Center

iii. Cisco ISE

- Develop Python scripts for network automation, configuration validation, and reporting.

Security & Infrastructure :

- Configure and support Firewalls :

i. Palo Alto

ii. Fortinet

- Implement VPN technologies :

i. IPsec

ii. GRE

iii. DMVPN

iv. L2TP

v. PPTP

- Perform network audits and security assessments.

Operations & Support :

- Provide L2/L3 support for complex network incidents.

- Monitor network performance and ensure SLA compliance.

- Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.

- Coordinate with OEM vendors for RMA and escalations.

- Maintain technical documentation and asset inventory.

Team Leadership :

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

- Participate in architecture discussions and customer meetings.

- Support project delivery and cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills :

- CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Data Center (Active Certification Mandatory).

- 8-15 years of experience in Enterprise/Data Center Networking.

- Strong expertise in Cisco Routers and Switches.

- Hands-on experience with Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K platforms.

- Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, HSRP, VRRP, and VLAN technologies.

- Experience with Cisco ACI and VXLAN EVPN.

- Experience in SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela preferred).

- Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Center and Cisco ISE.

- Knowledge of Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls.

- Experience with VMware ESXi and virtualization technologies.

- Knowledge of Python scripting and network automation.

- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in large enterprise or data center environments.

- Exposure to multi-vendor technologies (Juniper, Nokia, Huawei).

- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure).

- Experience in NOC/TAC operations and customer-facing roles.

Educational Qualification :

- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or related discipline.

- Relevant Cisco certifications beyond CCIE will be an added advantage.
