Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Network & DNS Engineer to join the Infrastructure team. This role is crucial for the design, implementation, and advanced support of Mizuho Americas' critical network infrastructure, with a specialized focus on maintaining and optimizing the enterprise DNS/DHCP (DDI) platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network services, particularly utilizing the BlueCat suite and F5 GTM for global traffic management.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus :

DNS/DHCP/IPAM (DDI) Platform Management :

- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the enterprise BlueCat Address Manager (IPAM), including managing IP addressing schemes, subnet allocation, and ensuring strict IP governance across the network.

- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability BlueCat DNS/DHCP Services, focusing on performance tuning, capacity planning, and security hardening of the DDI environment.

- Manage and optimize BlueCat Edge DNS configurations for enhanced global resolution, redundancy, and security posture at the network edge.

Global Traffic Management (GTM) :

- Design, configure, and troubleshoot F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager) devices and policies, ensuring intelligent, performance-based global load balancing and failover across multiple data centers.

- Implement and maintain DNS resolution strategies, wide IPs, pools, and monitors within the F5 environment to ensure application continuity and high availability.

Core Network Infrastructure :

- Participate in the planning, deployment, and operational support of core enterprise network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and associated protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

- Conduct advanced network packet analysis and performance troubleshooting to isolate and resolve complex network and DNS latency issues affecting critical business applications.

Security and Compliance :

- Ensure all DNS/DHCP configurations and network access controls adhere to strict security policies and regulatory compliance standards for the financial services sector.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures for the DNS and GTM platforms.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Experience : Minimum 7+ years of dedicated experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level DNS/DHCP/IPAM (DDI) solutions.

- BlueCat Expertise : Expert-level, hands-on experience and proficiency with the entire BlueCat DDI suite, including BlueCat Address Manager (BAM), BlueCat DNS/DHCP Services, and BlueCat Edge DNS.

- F5 GTM Mastery : Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting solutions using F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager) for load balancing and intelligent traffic routing.

- Network Protocols : Strong technical foundation in core networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.

- Troubleshooting : Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills, including using tools like Wireshark/tcpdump for deep packet inspection.

- Location/Commitment : Willingness to work remotely for the initial contract period (1 year) and then transition to onsite work in Pune, India.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working in a large-scale financial services or highly regulated enterprise environment.

- Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible) for configuration management and DDI/F5 orchestration.

- Relevant industry certifications (CCIE, F5 Certified Big-IP Professional, BlueCat Certified Engineer).

- Experience with other load balancers or application delivery controllers (ADCs).
