Senior NetApp Infrastructure & Storage Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior NetApp Infrastructure & Storage Architect with strong expertise in NetApp ONTAP and MetroCluster to design and implement highly available enterprise storage solutions.

Preferred :

- VMware / Virtualization

- Kubernetes / Container Platforms

- Enterprise Backup Solutions

- NetApp Certifications (NCDA/NCIE)

What You'll Do :

- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise storage solutions using NetApp ONTAP.

- Architect and manage highly available MetroCluster environments to ensure business continuity.

- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for storage infrastructure.

- Plan and execute disaster recovery (DR), failover, and resiliency testing.

- Configure and manage storage replication technologies, including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and Snapshots.

- Perform storage migrations, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

- Configure and support storage protocols such as NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, and NVMe/TCP.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, virtualization, and operations teams to deliver scalable storage solutions.

- Ensure storage security, availability, redundancy, and compliance with enterprise standards.

- Troubleshoot complex storage-related issues and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of overall IT experience. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP (Mandatory).

- Strong expertise in NetApp MetroCluster architecture and administration.

- Experience with enterprise storage architecture and infrastructure design.

- Hands-on experience with SnapMirror, SnapVault, and Snapshot technologies.

- Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR), High Availability (HA), storage replication, and failover mechanisms.

- Experience with storage networking, including VLANs, redundancy, and connectivity.

- Proficiency in HLD and LLD documentation.

- Experience in storage migration, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with VMware and virtualization platforms.

- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.

- Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions.

- NetApp certifications such as NCDA, NCIE, or equivalent are highly preferred.
