Senior .Net Engineer - IIOT Platform

Job Title: Senior .NET MES / IIoT Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Engineer with strong experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Industrial IoT (IIoT). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in C#/.NET development, shop floor system integration, and working with SCADA/PLC systems and industrial equipment.

This role involves designing, developing, and integrating enterprise applications with manufacturing systems and industrial devices to enable real-time data processing and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. MES Development & Integration :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications integrated with MES platforms

- Work on production workflows, shop floor execution, and tracking systems

- Customize MES functionalities based on business and plant requirements

2. .NET Application Development :

- Develop scalable applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET

- Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and backend systems

- Ensure performance, security, and maintainability of applications

3. IIoT & Equipment Integration :

- Integrate applications with industrial equipment, sensors, and devices

- Work with IIoT platforms and edge devices for real-time data acquisition

- Implement device communication protocols and data pipelines

4. SCADA / PLC Integration :

- Interface with SCADA systems and PLCs for data collection and monitoring

- Work on shop floor connectivity and automation systems

- Enable seamless communication between IT systems and OT (Operational Technology)

5. System Integration & APIs :

- Develop and manage integrations between :

1. MES ? ERP (SAP/Oracle)

2. MES ? IoT platforms

3. MES ? enterprise applications

- Work with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and messaging systems

6. Data Handling & Analytics Support :

- Handle real-time and historical manufacturing data

- Work with SQL databases for storage and reporting

- Support data pipelines for analytics and reporting use cases

7. Troubleshooting & Optimization :

- Diagnose and resolve issues in production and shop floor systems

- Optimize system performance, latency, and reliability

- Provide support for deployment and production environments

Required Skills & Experience :

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in C# and .NET / .NET Core.

- Experience working with MES systems (any platform)

- Hands-on experience in Industrial IoT (IIoT).

- Experience with SCADA / PLC systems.

- Strong experience in equipment/device integration.

Integration & Backend Skills :

- REST APIs, Web APIs, Microservices

- Experience with system integration (MES, ERP, IoT).

- Knowledge of communication protocols (OPC, MQTT, etc.) is a plus.

Data & Database :

- Strong SQL skills

- Experience handling real-time data / shop floor data.

Additional Skills (Preferred) :

- Experience with Azure IoT / cloud platforms.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes / shop floor operations

- Exposure to industrial automation environments.
