Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to lead the integration of Generative AI capabilities into our enterprise software. This role requires a strong foundation in backend engineering (C#/.NET 8) combined with practical experience in orchestrating Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve business problems. You will work on building scalable, intelligent applications that utilize the Microsoft AI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend Architecture : Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using C# and ASP.NET Core.

- AI Integration : Implement AI-driven features using Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Semantic Kernel, ensuring seamless interaction between traditional code and AI models.

- RAG Implementation : Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to securely connect AI models with proprietary organizational data.

- Prompt Engineering : Design and optimize system prompts to ensure accurate, deterministic, and safe AI responses.

- Data Management : Work with SQL databases and integrate Vector Databases (e.g., Azure AI Search, Qdrant) for semantic search capabilities.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize API latency, token usage, and cost efficiency for AI-integrated services.

Required Qualifications

- Experience : 4+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on C# and .NET Core/.NET 5+.

- AI SDKs : Hands-on experience with Microsoft Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or direct OpenAI API integration.

- Cloud Proficiency : Experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions).

- Database Skills : Strong proficiency in SQL Server and an understanding of vector embeddings/storage.

- Problem Solving : Demonstrated ability to debug complex asynchronous workflows and manage the non-

deterministic nature of AI outputs.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Python is a plus (for collaboration with Data Science teams).

- Familiarity with Azure AI Studio and prompt evaluation flows.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
