About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong hands-on expertise in legacy versions of the .NET framework.

This is a deployment-critical role that requires immediate onboarding.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience in developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise-grade applications using older .NET technologies.

You will be working onsite (5 days a week) at our Perungalathur, Chennai location, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of key project components.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using legacy versions of the .NET framework.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Work closely with architects and team leads to design scalable and maintainable solutions.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues related to legacy codebases.

- Ensure high-performance and responsiveness of applications.

- Collaborate with team members to follow coding standards, best practices, and ensure code quality.

- Provide support in deployment activities and immediate post-deployment stabilization.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in .NET development.

- Strong command over older versions of the .NET framework (e.g., .NET Framework 2.0 to 4.5).

- Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms or Web Forms.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.

- Experience working with SQL Server and writing complex stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with version control tools such as TFS or SVN.

- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with migration projects from older .NET frameworks to newer platforms.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment tools
