Job Description

Role Overview :


We are seeking an experienced Senior Mulesoft Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns, and scalable, secure Mule applications.

This is a technical hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving abilities, architectural knowledge, and communication skills to work with global teams and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Design end-to-end integration architectures using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, applying best practices and enterprise patterns

- Define RAML specifications, API contracts, and interface definitions

- Create reusable and modular components for API development and orchestration

Development & Implementation :

- Develop and maintain APIs, connectors, flows, and system integrations

- Build APIs using Mule 4.x, DataWeave 2.0, MuleSoft Connectors, and MUnit for testing

- Implement security policies using OAuth2, JWT, Basic Auth, and Client ID Enforcement

Troubleshooting & Optimization :

- Debug, profile, and troubleshoot application performance and connectivity issues

- Perform root cause analysis and proactively resolve system defects and bottlenecks

- Optimize APIs and applications for scalability and resilience

DevOps & Deployment :

- Participate in CI/CD workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven

- Deploy Mule applications to CloudHub, On-premise, or Hybrid runtime environments

- Manage APIs through Anypoint API Manager and monitor performance via Anypoint Monitoring

Stakeholder Collaboration :


- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including business analysts, QA engineers, and architects

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers

- Participate in client discussions, handle escalations, and offer proactive support

Documentation & Compliance :

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design artifacts, interface specs, and deployment runbooks

- Ensure solutions are compliant with SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks as applicable

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

- Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity architecture, REST, and SOAP APIs

- Experience with DataWeave transformations, Mule 4.x, MUnit testing framework

- Proficient in working with API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center

- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integration patterns

- Experience with version control tools like Git, build tools like Maven, and CI/CD pipelines

- Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ) is a plus

- MuleSoft certification (Developer or Architect) is highly desirable
