Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer - Microsoft Intune with expertise in end-user computing to design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide endpoint solutions across Windows, macOS, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).

This role is critical to ensuring optimized endpoint management, enhanced security posture, and seamless user experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and administer Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 endpoint solutions.

- Configure and manage device enrolment, compliance, and application deployment policies.

- Ensure security hardening of endpoints and respond to compliance/security alerts.

- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, etc.) for endpoint management and process efficiency.

- Collaborate with global teams to resolve complex endpoint issues and ensure adherence to IT governance.

- Monitor compliance, licensing, and security standards for enterprise endpoints.

- Troubleshoot end-user computing issues across Windows, macOS, and VDI environments.

- Provide documentation, reporting, and technical guidance as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree (BE or equivalent) with relevant experience.

- 7+ years overall IT experience with a focus on endpoint management.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune in enterprise-scale environments.

- Strong knowledge of device configuration, compliance policies, security baselines, and application management.

- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) for automation.

- Understanding of network concepts, Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint security standards.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to Office 365 suites, Azure DevOps (ADO), and enterprise collaboration tools.

- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.

- Experience in enterprise-scale migrations or transformation projects.
