Experience :

- 15+ years of relevant experience.

Education / Certifications :

Essential Experience :

- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux server operations.

- Virtualisation, backup and restore, patching and monitoring.

- Ability to maintain evidence for backup, access, patching and DR controls.

- Comparable production platform experience may be considered where tools differ.

Preferred Experience :

- VMware or Hyper-V.

- Veeam, Commvault or similar backup solutions.

- SAN/NAS administration.

- Basic scripting.

- Audit support.

- Data-centre coordination.

- Vendor management and coordination.

Governance & Control Expectations :

- Backup and restore evidence.

- Patch and vulnerability closure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Maintain server, storage and virtualisation platform health, availability, capacity and lifecycle records.

- Perform patching, hardening, backup, restore testing and exception tracking with proper evidence.

- Support production incidents, planned maintenance, DR drills and problem management.

- Track warranties, licenses, assets, configuration baselines and capacity risks.

- Coordinate with application, network, security, facilities and vendor teams to ensure stable operations.

- Prepare audit evidence for access management, backup, patching, monitoring, disaster recovery and change controls.
