Senior Manager - IT (Information Technology)

Location : Delhi NCR Gurgaon.

Reports To : Director / CTO / COO

Role Overview :

The Senior Manager IT is responsible for leading the organizations IT strategy, infrastructure, digital transformation initiatives, and technology operations. This role ensures scalable, secure, and efficient IT systems aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

1. IT Strategy & Leadership :

- Define and implement IT roadmap aligned with business objectives

- Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives

- Evaluate emerging technologies for business impact

2. Infrastructure & Operations :

- Oversee IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud systems)

- Ensure high system uptime, performance, and disaster recovery readiness

- Manage POS systems, ERP, CRM, and business applications

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance :

- Implement IT security policies and risk management frameworks

- Ensure data protection and compliance with regulatory requirements

- Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments

4. Team Management :

- Build, Lead and mentor IT team (support, network, development)

- Define KPIs, performance reviews, and capability building

- Manage vendors, external partners, and consultants

5. Project Management :

- Lead IT projects (new system implementations, upgrades, integrations)

- Ensure timely delivery within budget

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams

6. Budget & Cost Optimization :

- Manage IT budgets, procurement, and cost efficiency

- Optimize licensing, cloud usage, and vendor contracts

7. Business Support & Innovation :

- Ensure seamless IT support across locations

- Enable business functions like marketing tech, analytics, customer experience

- Support data-driven decision making

Key Skills & Competencies :

- IT Infrastructure & Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- ERP/POS Systems (especially relevant for retail/amusement parks)

- Cybersecurity & Risk Management

- Project Management (Agile/Waterfall)

- Vendor Management

- Strong leadership & stakeholder management

- Data analytics & business intelligence understanding Digital adoption rate

- POS integration with ticketing systems

- RFID / access control systems

- Arcade & gaming tech integration

- CRM for birthday/event bookings

- CCTV & safety systems

- Mobile app / online booking platform

Qualifications :

- Bachelors in IT / Computer Science / Engineering

- MBA (preferred)

- Certifications (good to have) :

1. ITIL

2. PMP

3. CISSP / CISM

4. Cloud certifications

Experience Required :

- 6- 8 years in IT roles

- 3 years in leadership/managerial role

- Experience in multi-location operations (preferred for retail industry)

- IT cost efficiency (% of revenue)

- Project delivery timelines

- Security incidents & resolution time

- User satisfaction score
