Senior Magento Developer - PHP Frameworks

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Magento Developer with proven expertise in Magento Commerce (Enterprise Edition), B2B and B2C e Commerce, and headless architecture.

You will play a pivotal leadership role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance digital commerce platforms, with a special focus on the Middle East regions unique commercial, tax, currency, and language requirements.

This is a leadership opportunity demanding strong technical acumen, project ownership, and the ability to drive teams toward delivering outstanding user experiences across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee the full development life-cycleof Magento projects, ensuring top quality, security, and performance.

- Architect and implement complex B2B and B2C Magento solutions, including building custom modules, APIs, and integrating third-party systems.

- Provide technical leadership on headless commerce initiatives utilizing tools like Magento PWA Studio, React, or Vue.js.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, BA, PM) to convert business requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Ensure compliance with regional (Middle East) requirements: RTL language support, local payment gateways (e.g., Tabby, Tamara), VAT/tax laws, and multi-currency pricing.

- Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.

- Drive sprint planning, estimation, and on-time delivery in Agile settings.

- Maintain thorough documentation, track project risks, and continuously suggest improvements to delivery processes and the tech stack.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong expertise in Magento 2 Enterprise Edition (Adobe Commerce); familiarity with Community Edition

- In-depth experience delivering both B2B and B2C e Commerceplatforms

- Profound understanding of headless commerce architecture, Magento PWA Studio, GraphQL APIs, decoupled front-endtechnologies

- Magento multi-site, multi-language, and multi-currency setups

- Prior experience delivering e Commerceprojects for the Middle East market with region-specific compliance (tax, currency, RTL, payment gateways)

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Knockout.js, REST/SOAP APIs

- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

- Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills

- Demonstrated ability to lead remote and cross-functional teams

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with other modern JS frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)

- Knowledge of ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, and Redis in Magento contexts

- Exposure to microservices architecture & containerized deployments

- Familiarity with DevOps best practices and tools

- Prior work with internationalization/localization and accessibility standards

- Experience in solutioning for mobile-first or omni-channel commerce platforms
