About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Magento 2 Backend Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, API integrations, performance optimization, and custom module development. This role requires hands-on experience with PHP 8+, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain Magento 2 backend functionalities with a focus on GraphQL, API Mesh, and SaaS product integrations.

- Build and maintain custom Magento modules, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

- Implement security upgrades, bug fixes, and version upgrades as needed.

API & Integration :

- Develop and integrate REST APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL services to support cross-platform functionalities.

- Work closely with front-end, QA, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Performance & Code Quality :

- Use performance monitoring and profiling tools such as New Relic, PHPCS, and PHPMD to ensure optimal performance and code quality.

- Follow clean coding standards, design patterns, and OOP principles to maintain high development standards.

Testing & CI/CD :

- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and stability.

- Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins to support automated deployments and continuous integration processes.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work in cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
