Senior/Lead Python Engineer - Microservices Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Lead Python Engineer to join our clients engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable backend systems, leading development efforts, and ensuring best engineering practices. This role is perfect for someone passionate about clean code, microservices, and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write efficient, modular, and well-tested code using Pytest or similar testing frameworks.

- Lead and mentor the development team through code reviews, task planning, and Agile

ceremonies.

- Integrate backend services with databases, APIs, and front-end systems.

- Work with relational databases such as MySQL and MariaDB, as well as NoSQL databases.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Agile and DevOps methodologies.

- (Nice to Have) Work with AWS/Azure APIs, cloud services, and DevOps tools for deployment

and automation.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience with templating engines (e.g., Jinja2).

- Proficient in Git, SVN, or other version control tools.

- Solid understanding of microservice architecture, RESTful API integration, and distributed

system design.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
