Job Summary :

We are hiring a highly experienced Lead / Senior Python Developer with mandatory expertise in Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF) to build scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python development, REST API architecture, cloud deployment, database optimization, and modern software engineering practices. This role requires both technical excellence and the ability to work collaboratively in a product-focused agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF)

- Build, optimize, and manage secure RESTful APIs for frontend systems, mobile applications, and third-party integrations

- Develop reusable, efficient, and maintainable backend architectures following best coding practices

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, performance, and security

- Manage relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and query optimization

- Implement asynchronous processing, task scheduling, and background jobs using Celery or similar tools

- Ensure code quality through automated testing, debugging, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines

- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Ensure data security, compliance, and privacy standards are met

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions

- Stay updated with emerging technologies, backend frameworks, and industry trends

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python development

- Strong professional experience with Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF) is mandatory

- Proven experience in designing scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs

Education :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming, OOP concepts, and design patterns

- Deep expertise in Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF)

- Experience in building and managing RESTful APIs

- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL / MySQL and ORM

- Experience with Git and version control systems

- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments

- Knowledge of Celery, asynchronous programming, and task schedulers

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP

- Familiarity with microservices architecture

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience in product-based companies

- Healthcare domain experience is a plus

- Knowledge of FastAPI / Flask

- Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka

- Authentication systems, API gateways, and third-party integrations
