Looking for 7-10 years experience engineer from air traffic systems background with knowledge on Agile processes. Responsible for trouble shooting the issues, resolving issues and developing new software features in Ada in an existing Ada software product baseline.

Position : Senior Lead Engineer

Job Description :

- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle and warranty support using these languages: C/C++; Ada; Java; and Python; while programming in a Unix/Linux based development environment.

- Prior experience in software testing and debugging source code, including familiarity with ClearCase/ClearQuest, Git, Jira, and Bitbucket for configuration management and workflow management.

- Knowledge of Unix, Red Hat Linux, SQL, Matlab, bash/ksh scripting.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software features in Ada and C++ as part of an existing air traffic system product baseline.

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues reported from production or testing environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and implement changes following Agile methodologies.

- Participate in full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, coding, unit testing, integration, and system testing.

- Provide warranty support, bug fixing, and performance optimization for existing systems deployed in customer environments.

- Conduct software debugging, code reviews, and static/dynamic analysis using industry tools.

- Work in Unix/Linux environments, with hands-on experience in Red Hat Linux, scripting (bash/ksh), and SQL for automation and data analysis tasks.

- Utilize tools like ClearCase, ClearQuest, Git, Jira, and Bitbucket for version control and workflow management.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.

- Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer across teams as needed.

Educational Qualification :

- BE/B.Tech/ME/MTech in Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology with a minimum of 6+ years prior experience in C/C++; Ada; Java; and Python; while programming in a Unix/Linux based development environment.

- Having experience in Air Traffic Control Systems is preferred.
