Senior Jira Administrator - Configuration & Customization

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions tailored to business needs.

- Utilize Jira scripting and REST APIs to automate processes and integrate Jira with other tools.

- Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Jira plugins and add-ons to extend Jira capabilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver Jira solutions.

- Provide expertise in Jira Service Management and Confluence integration to streamline ITSM processes (preferred).

- Monitor and resolve Jira-related issues promptly, ensuring system reliability and performance.

- Document Jira configurations, processes, and best practices for internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven expertise in Jira configuration, customization, and workflow design.

- Strong experience with Jira scripting (Groovy, ScriptRunner, or equivalent) and REST APIs.

- Proficient in developing and managing Jira plugins/add-ons.

- Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Confluence integration is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and supporting tools.
