Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Application Development : Build, maintain, and support Java-based backend applications using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Collaboration & Design : Interpret business requirements to produce functional and technical design documents, working with a high degree of accuracy.
- System Integration : Develop solutions with strong expertise in XML and IBM WebSphere MQ.
- Database Management : Utilize knowledge of relational databases (SQL, JDBC) and entity frameworks like Hibernate to ensure efficient data management.
- Project Management : Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills :
- Core Technologies : Strong proficiency in Core Java.
- Frameworks : Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot.
- Messaging & Data : Solid experience with XML and IBM WebSphere MQ.
- Databases : Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL, JDBC) and entity frameworks like Hibernate.
- Frontend : Good exposure to Angular.
- DevOps : Experience with DevOps practices.
- Operating Systems : Experience with Linux and Shell scripting.
- Desired Skills : Experience with Kafka, cloud technologies, and Scala.
- Experience with large-scale DB2 databases and a background in the financial services/banking industry is a plus.
Education & Experience :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience : A minimum of 5+ years of experience in building Java-based backend applications and over all 7-10 years of experience
