Role Overview :

As a Senior Java Software Developer at Altezzasys, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based applications. You will collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and other developers to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and scalability of our core platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for our users and driving significant business outcomes. This role is based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering robust and scalable solutions for our clients.

- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of projects.

- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards to maintain code quality and reduce technical debt.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

- Research and evaluate new technologies, recommending solutions to improve our existing systems and processes.

Required Skillset :

Must Have :

- Strong experience in Java development

- Hands-on experience with Apache Flink for stream processing

- Experience working with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streams)

- Solid knowledge of database administration (SQL/NoSQL)

- Experience with data pipelines and real-time data processing

- Understanding of system performance tuning and troubleshooting

- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

- Demonstrated proficiency in Java development, including strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.

- Extensive experience with Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for building enterprise-level applications.

- Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically MySQL and SQL, including experience with database design and optimization.

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and their application in various use cases.

- Experience with stream processing technologies such as Apache Flink and Kafka for real-time data processing.

- Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline
