Senior Java Engineer - Backend Architecture

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Java developers, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.

- Own end-to-end development of Java / Java EE applications, including batch and online systems.

- Perform requirements analysis, system design, development, unit testing, and deployment support.

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems and microservices.

- Coordinate with EQA, DevOps, UAT, and Release Management teams for smooth deployments.

- Support UAT cycles, fix defects, and manage production releases and post-production support.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance benchmarks.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

- Act as a key technical point of contact for stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

Java & Backend Development :

Strong hands-on experience with Core Java (Java 8+) :

- Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency

- Exception handling, JVM internals

- Performance tuning and memory management

Extensive experience with Java EE / Jakarta EE :

- Servlets, JSP

- JPA / Hibernate

- JMS (preferred)

Strong expertise in Spring ecosystem :

- Spring Boot

- Spring MVC / REST

- Spring Security

- Spring Data JPA
