About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer with strong architectural experience who will work as an Individual Contributor (IC) while also providing architectural guidance for complex systems. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Java-based backend development, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to design scalable and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop highly scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Java.

- Contribute as a hands-on Individual Contributor (IC) in designing and building complex applications.

- Provide architecture-level solutions and technical guidance to engineering teams.

- Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.

- Work with cloud-based infrastructure and services for deployment and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and QA.

- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices.

- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Java development.

- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

- Proven experience working in Architectural roles while remaining hands-on.

- Experience working as an Individual Contributor in complex enterprise systems.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and security.

Good to Have :

- Experience with event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration.

- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

- Exposure to Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
