Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Team Lead to join our project with a leading global financial client. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong technical and leadership skills to work onsite at the Amex offices in Chennai or Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a small team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

- Review code and ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.

- Work closely with client stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.

- Prior experience in a Team Lead role is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and microservices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Java Certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer) is a strong plus.

- Willingness to work onsite(Hybrid) from the office in Chennai or Gurgaon (no remote option).
