Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer with a strong background in designing and building scalable, high-performance applications across enterprise, SME, or startup ecosystems. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in a cloud-native, microservices-driven environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions, with an emphasis on clean architecture, performance optimization, and cloud integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs

- Architect and implement microservices with an emphasis on performance, fault tolerance, and observability

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate React (or Angular) UIs with back-end services

- Design and optimize database schemas using JPA, Hibernate, and RDBMS technologies like PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps

- Deploy and orchestrate applications using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE)

- Leverage AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and managing cloud-native services (AWS preferred)

- Integrate with event-driven architectures using Kafka, MQ, or other messaging platforms

- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) principles to backend architecture

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, deliver iterative demos, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of professional Java development experience

- Strong command over Java 11+ features such as Streams, Lambdas, and functional programming paradigms

- Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and REST API design

- Proven experience building and monitoring production-ready microservices

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS) and cloud services integration

- Front-end development experience using React or Angular with understanding of HTML, CSS3, Tailwind, and responsive design principles

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with iterative delivery cycles

- Familiarity with event-driven systems, Kafka, or similar messaging/event buses

- Strong skills in SQL, query tuning, and code optimization

- Experience with Git and other version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the hospitality services domain is a strong plus

- Familiarity with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures

- Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools

- Knowledge of monitoring tools and observability best practices
