Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Job Title : Senior Java Developer

Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Location : Gurgaon

Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.

- Develop RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness.

- Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and manage ORM mappings using Hibernate.

- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Implement security, data protection, and performance tuning for backend services.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+).

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.

- Solid understanding of Hibernate ORM and its performance considerations.

- Experience with REST API development and integration.

- Proficient in writing SQL queries and interacting with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and data serialization.

- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Microservices Architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
